E's backyard party

We celebrated Ethan's15th Birthday this past weekend,
 with a backyard, bonfire bash
for him and a few of his friends.

It was a beautiful night for a backyard party.
I am so happy because we had to postpone Ethan's party
in April
due to weather.

They climbed trees, wrestled, sang and talked until Midnight.

This was such a low maintenance party.
The kids all take drama together at school and
have know each other since 7th or 8th grade so they just hung out
and enjoyed the night and each others company.
No one really watched the movie cause they were too busy talking
and playing football, or wrestling.
That was might fine with us.

So my baby girl got to go to her first high school party
and she is only in 6th grade.
I was really proud of her and I think E was too.
She talked to everyone and had a great time.
We got to share some hammock time at the end of the night.
Cameron decided he wanted to stay over at a friends house
this night... we missed him!
Happy 15th again
to our Country boy,
 rock and roll drummer,
our dirt bike riding, varsity wrestling, actor!
And
as your Freshman year comes to an end I want to let you know
how we love you so and
what a fine young man you are. We
could not be more proud of you and
your kind heart, determination and free spirit.

There are a few more pics on my instagram feed

~15~

Happy Birthday Ethan!!

Where has the time gone?
I ask myself this question a lot lately.
My young man is 15 today.
How did that happen?

About "E"

He can not wait to drive...for real!
When we take him on our country roads to practice,
 he is safe...
He loves cars!

He is a hard worker,
He is always willing to help.

 He loves his family...
I don't mean just us, I mean his Grandparents, his Aunts and Uncles,
He adores his Cousins.
 He is kind and compassionate.
 He has amazing blue eyes.

He is one of my favorite dance partners next to his Dad.

He loves music, (all kinds) but especially rock.
He is talented at
drumming, playing the guitar, acting, and dancing...
He can also take apart just about anything
and
put it back together
just like his Dad.

He would tell you he is a country boy through and through.
That he loves this town,
he loves his school.
He lets this photography crazy mama take tons of
photos of him and he always amazes me
with what he comes up with!

He loved wrestling at a young age just like his Dad

 He loves animals.
He caught lizards or frogs almost every day when we lived in Florida.
He loved his go-cart but loves his dirt bike even more.
He wants a motorcycle so bad...
Hate to say it but...
(not gonna happen)

He was so excited that he lettered this year in wrestling.

He loves organic food, Chiropractic care and holistic healing.

He makes us proud every day.  Not because of these things
but
because of Who he is...

a loving son, a loyal big brother,
a compassionate friend,
a son of the King...
I am so humbled and happy that I get to watch
 this young man grow up.
That I get to walk along side him
and
that God
has trusted me and his Dad to raise this boy,
this young man
my "E"

Happy 15th Birthday Ethan!!!
WE LOVE YOU!

Ethan

This is my Ethan, I caught this sweet photo of him praying before a match last year with my cell phone.  It touched my heart, the site of him humbling himself before the Lord and others to pray for God to be with him and help him to do his best.  He has the heart of a warrior on the mat and the spirit of a lamb off the mat. It is  something watching him...He is fierce and fast.  He is off to a great start this season.  I pray for him to have a good attitude, a great time making memories and to be grateful for everything.
