Oh this time of year.
Children are happy, people are out and about.
It is wrestling season and trap season in our little neck of the woods
so we are super busy and there is an excitement too.
We put up our tree early this year and I have really enjoyed that.
I think the kiddos have also, although my oldest is away more than he is
home it seems.
With the spring like weather we have been having,
it almost doesn't feel like Christmas.
But the joy and good will around me
remind me every day of the good in people.
Ethan will be attending his first winter formal this Saturday night.
There is shopping to be done, more play rehearsals for
the last two performances and of course wrestling meets
and trap practice.
With all of that I am grateful to the ones who ground me.
So blessed to the ones who know me so well and
keep the Christ in Christmas.
This lovely addition to our mantle was made by a dear friend.
Can I tell you that I am in love with it?!
